a love letter to poetry
Poetry flies into my windowpane
and thuds to the ground, unmoving.
I lift her, barely breathing
both of us stunned.
We are still for an eternity
And then,
we sing.
Poetry flies into my windowpane
and thuds to the ground, unmoving.
I lift her, barely breathing
both of us stunned.
We are still for an eternity
And then,
we sing.
